General Discussion / Save the Date - Larry/Shelby's Wedding January 19th

So we have finally decided to have the wedding.  It will be held at the Flowood Underwood Auditorium.  We have not decided the exact time, but I am looking at noon.  There will be a reception held afterwards at the same location.   That evening, also at the same location....possibly/hopefully....Daniel will be able to talk the band he is part of - Kid Vicious to be there, which would be an awesome unformal fun night.  If not, we will still have a get together with music and fun.  I only have the building until 10pm, so it will not be a late one there.

I am hoping to have my fellow Mandos/Friends there.

Please let me know if you are going to be able to make it.  I have to get the food list/setup set.  There are no invites being sent out.  This is developing into a great day for us.  Can't wait!!!!

Backwoods Con / Time to start planning this

Ok guys and gals, we went over this at the meeting briefly......and Lance has done some work on this already.   So here we go.....

This is a con that is being held September 29th.  Who all is interested in going.  I am down with this.  I think it would be a blast to get a black of hotel rooms and make the drive.  According to Lance, we were asked to be there and have a booth.   So, we need to do some quick planning and executing to make this happen.

So sign up list is the 1st thing....once we know who will be going, we can go from there.

Zoo Day 2012 / Who all is up for Zoo Day

Ok guys and girls, we were asked to come out for Zoo Day March 10th.  It will be from 10am-2pm.  Huge thinking on how bad the last zoo event went for us to be asked back.  She also asked if we could do other costumes that day also.

Bonfire for Cade December 16th / Troop Request for December 16th

OK guys, I brought this up at our christmas party. We are honored to be requested to attend a bonfire this coming Friday night to celebrate the 18 month mark of being treatment free for Cade Ainsworth.  It will be from 6:30 to 10:00 at Hope Hollow in Canton- 910A Catlett Road.

I would LOVE to have as many costumes as possible there.  With that, we will need handlers.  I know its a Friday Night, but its only a few hours.  Cade with be burning his hospital clothes and just knowing having us come out would make this even more special for him is awesome.

So please either call, email, or txt me saying yes I will be there or no I won't.  This is our last troop for awhile and the last big event till the end of January.  So come on out and make this day special for one young man.  Thanks.

Been talking to Nick about this.....WWE is holding a wrestling event in January that we will be going to.  Question to the group is do we have enough people interested in wrestling to make a Mando event out of it?

Well guys, got a little code minded today and decided to try something new.  With that, you can now login or register using your facebook account.  Since you are an existing member, you will need to goto your profile, then the facebook tab.  From there, it will allow you to sync your current account with your facebook one.   After that, you have a facebook tab here that you can actually update your status or post to facebook.  New members can now skip registration and just connect through their facebook user name.   

This also now allows options for our site such as "Comments" and "Like" that facebook has.

Check it out guys and tell me what you think.
